I was expecting a little more from Mr Pepin. If you like homey and odd things like fried hard boiled eggs ...(they may be delicious) this is for you. There are a ot of very good recipies in the book.

A special book by a special chef
This book has easy French recipes, a joy to try country French cooking. Chef Pepin, is one of my favorite chef's. I enjoy the T V shows he has on cooking.
