John Lewley Cornforth (1937-2004) was an architectural historian with a particular interest in the history of English country houses. He was the author of many books and articles, and architectural editor of Country Life from 1967 to 1977. John Beresford Fowler (1906 1977) was an English interior designer. Illustrated throughout, some of which are coloured. Condition: In a green cloth binding with gilt lettering to spine and a clipped dustwrapper. Externally excellent with minor shelfwear only. Dustwrapper smart, lightly rubbed in places with some wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with very bright and clean pages throughout. Overall: NEAR FINE with a VERY GOOD dustwrapper.
