Near Fine in Near Fine Dust Jacket. First edition, near fine yellow cloth hardcover showing just a hint of wear, in near fine dust jacket showing touch of wear as well including a couple of tiny closed edge tears. 250 pages with a set of black & whites. Nice copy of this biography that ". examines the life and career of Georgii Vasil'evich Chicherin, Soviet commissar of foreign affairs in the 12 years following the Bolshevik Revolution."
New in New jacket. Book New unread first edition cloth hardcover in new jacket. Jacket looks new other than light sunning overall, but please note that previous owner was a collector who carefully reinforced the dust jacket with what appears to be archival tape along the interior edges to prevent shelf wear. The book itself is in pristine brand new, clean, tight and unread condition with covers so tight and crisp the book feels as though it has never been opened. I will wrap it up so it stays that way. Superb collector's gem.
