Very good in very good dust jacket. Clothbound octavo, xvi, 336 pages. Not ex-library. No stickers, no remainder marks. The jacket is clean with little wear, the binding is firm. A previous owner's bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown. The pages are bright and unmarked throughout.
Very Good in Good jacket. Book. 9 1/2 h x 6w. A nice 336 page first edition hardcover. Has some aging and dust jacket has some general wear with a taped tear at spine top front. Is in scan provided. Overall just a nice used book. Reader can learn about Carolingian furniture, medicine, dieting, birth control, astrology, drinking habits, or hygiene? A fine introduction to early medieval Europe lifestyle.
