Very Good with no dust jacket. 179 pages, well illustrated (some in color), tables, pictorial wrappers, very good. From the introduction: This book, which I began writing in 1968, has been planned with the modeler in mind, and it is hoped that this work will help ease the modeler's dilemma as to accurate color schemes and markings for U.S. Navy aircraft. The text is laid out chronologically within sections that correspond to the finishing steps on a model, i.e. standard finish, standard markings, unit markings, I.D. markings, and special markings. This was done so that a modeler could decide on a period or specific battle to represent, and then finish his model in stags by referring to various sections in the book.
