Info for the College bound
There is life outside the Ivy League! This is a great book and philosophy. The author was (he's recently deceased) a proponent of smaller schools that become involved with their students and vice versa. These are schools that encourage their students to become involved in life; not just offer classes to obtain a diploma; schools who's curriculums are diverse, not main stream and many that are tailored to the individual.
We found this book helpful in guiding our children during the stressful time of college selection. The book has a small section, a real must-read, of questions students and parents should ask themselves about what they want the college experience to be.
I have both recommended and given this book to many students and parents.
