Fine in Good jacket. A rare and pioneering book for students of communication, culture, symbolic anthropology and poetics, as well as semioticians and readers in a variety of fields who are interested in "performance" as an aspect of culture. Book is clean and tight, all pages of text are unmarked and possibly unread; fly has a mark (about 1 in by 2 inches long) that appears to have been made to black out a name. There is also a faint stamp of the numbers 01500 and very faint, identical stain on the top of the inside cover and the flyleaf. DJ is scuffed and has edgewear but no tears. First printing, first thus. I will send a scan upon request.
