Very Good + in Very Good jacket. First edition, hardcover, has very slight bumps to spine ends and corners, touch of foxing to top edge of text block, and a hint of very faint sunning to spine, otherwise a solid VG+ copy in VG dustjacket which is price clipped, has very slight bumps to spine ends and corners, some slight edgewear, and very light rubbing.
First edition. Hardcover. 175 pages. Noted railroad photographer Philip R. Hastings' copy with his ownership signature to the front free endpaper. Includes numerous black and white images. A near fine copy with a faint paperclip impression to the top of the front free endpaper in a close to near fine dust jacket with some minor rubbing and wear.
Very Good Condition in Very Good jacket. Heavy, gloss paper. From the D.J. : "...Durin tells it all with pictures and text: the laying of the track, the bridges, the steam locomotives, the diesels, the motor trucks, the airlines and the branch lines, both in Canada and the U.S." Size: Sm 4to (9-11 inches tall). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. D.J. has some minor shelfwear but overall clean and very attractive. In protective mylar now. DJ is not price-clipped. Prior Owners Small Address Label present.
