Binding and hinges tight, intact and straight. Jacket is clean and complete. Faintly visible thin band of blue runs horizontally near top of jacket. It appears the book was thinner than anticipated as a bit of the rear panel wraps into the spine area. Jacket is otherwise fine. Laid into the book is a letter from the United States Naval Institute, dated August 21, 1974, apologizing to the buyer for the delay in fulfilling his order and advising him that it was shipping on that day.
