Fuller (1810-1850) was a teacher, translator, poet, transcendentalist, editor, critic, and writer on social questions. Chapter one of this posthumous work is about a visit to Niagara Falls.

Moderate shelf wear, some exposure at corners, rubbed along joints, narrow bands of loss to cloth at spine extremities. xi, 466,  pp. Former owner signature/date in pencil on blank verso of front flyleaf, lacking one leaf preceding main title (either blank or half-title), otherwise complete. Text block edges dulled by age, interior fully intact, binding firm. Not collector-grade, but a reasonably preserved copy.
