Near Fine. Hardcover, no dustjacket, first American printing as stated on copyright page "This volume does not pretend to be a full historical record of the life and reign of Ibn Sa'ud. It is rather a pageant of his achievement, set forth in a series of tableaux illustrating characteristic phases of his career, " illustrated throughout with photos, includes a genealogy, this is a clean copy inside and out with a tight, square binding and fine contents, tanning to the black cloth on the spine is the only remarkable flaw.
Good/This Book Has a Dust Jacket. ----------Dark cloth covers, 9 1/2" tall. 280 pages, with frontispiece and 47 other illustrations and a map...........GOOD CONDITION, tight clean text, solid binding, but note some bit of damage to top section of spine edge, under the chipped dust jacket, which is protected and improved by new clear mylar cover.

First US edition, very good in a like dust jacket. Small owner name at top left of front pastedown (behind flap). The page edges are a little soiled/spotted, and there are small dings on the rear board. The black cloth is worn in a small area at the top of the front board. The jacket has some soiling and rubbing on the front panel, and small chips at corners and spine ends. The bottom 1" of the jacket spine is detached, but it is difficult to tell with the brodart protector in place. Small hole punched in jacket near the top edge of the front panel. Tight and clean internally, with photographs, a genealogy of the Sudairi family and the Sa'ud family, and an index; 280 pages. A biography of the Saudi Arabian king and ruling family.
Good. B000NP6BO6 First American edition. Very good dj faintly rubbed, and light soiled on rear panel and spine. Newspaper clipping of previous owner/reviewers' "From the Bookshelf" review of this book, is tipped on to front free end paper creating dark shadow underneath and faint shadow to pasted down end paper. A handsome copy, however.
VG+ in Good-Chipped w/loss jacket. 280 pp, ill. The first full length biography of one of the most remarkable men in Middle Eastern Politics by the man who for many years served as his advisor. VG+ in jacket but there are large pieces chipped from jacket esp. on spine and side of top front covers. Book is very nice.
