Good in Fair jacket. 8vo. 153pages. Upper page edges tinted, lower page edges uncut. Prelilms, endpages and edges lightly foxed. Cloth boards, lightly bumped corners, spine title label heavily rubbed (hard to read), in price-clipped dust-jacket which is heavily worn with the loss of 5 cm from the spine head and a smaller section by the spine foot. The jacket fore-and lower-edges are slightly faded and the rear panel is soiled.

It is set in a dystopia, similar to that in Brave New World, Huxley's more famous work. It is largely a satire of the Previous ed. 1949.
