Moderate overall scuffing, spotting and soiling to covers. Spine has a couple of very thin cracks but binding is still solid. Previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper and a couple of pages have check marks in pen as well. Pages are otherwise yellowed with age but unmarked, with occasional light spotting and soiling. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Overall a good reading copy.
Near fine in Good- jacket. Octavo, 223pp., illustrated. A crisp, near fine copy, bright and clean, with an attractive bookplate on a front blank leaf. Dust jacket creased and chipped at the extremities, and mostly, though not entirely, detached at the spine folds; good at best. $1.50 jacket price intact.
