Reprint of the original, printed by Hudson & Goodwin in Hartford in 1796. 48pp, (5 x 7.25 inches), glossary. Good condition in brown stapled wrappers (soft cover). lower corner of whole booklet is bumped. Otherwise clean and well bound, no tears or creases, no markings. This is a "facsimile edition" reproduced to look like the original with a less than perfect typeface, some original spots on the pages, and typical quirkey old style spelling and grammar. Fun collection of old recipes, "adapted to this country and all grades of life."
Fair. There is no slip case and the binding is a little different with a half dust jacket. The boards are smudged and bumped. The spine remains free of creasing. The pages are lightly tanned due to age. The pages of this book are clean and unmarked. A good solid copy. FAST SHIPPING & FREE TRACKING!
