089207051x Very nice scarce catalog for a retrospective of the complicated abstract paintings of the eccentric artist Alfred Jensen. Based on difficult strange and perplexing theories and systems including Goethe's color theories that he embraced, but when it comes down to it, the paintings are just plain wonderful and beautiful to look at. Illus. with many b&w repros + 15 in color including several fold-outs. Very faint light wear to the front white cover and light rubbing to the red back cover, otherwise fine.
