Good. B001E3CCWQ Hi. Welcome to our small, family-owned bookstore. Original copyright, 1929, The Century Co.; this Revised Edition copyright 1951 by D Appleton-Century-Crofts Company, Inc. Written by V. M. Hillyer, revised by Edward G. Huey. With many maps and illustrations by Mary Sherwood Wright Jones. Hardcover. Good condition. Missing the dust jacket. The cover shows wear: rough corners. Chips on the crown of the spine, a split at the foot. The light green covers have small dark spots (1/8" or smaller), about 12 on the front cover ( which it appears someone tries to remove), 2 on the back. The outer edges of the pages are age-tanned, but the inner pages and illustrations are clean and unmarked, and as charming as when they were new. 440 pages plus a Pronouncing Index. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost. Thanks for checking out this book from our small town brick-and-mortar and supporting a small business.
