Fair. 0452284988. Binding OK, but start to split at introduction--nothing bad, but noticeable. Pages tanned, with some underlining. Cover generally worn, with creases at corners, and tear at bottom of spine. Still a good reading copy.; 7.90 X 5.30 X 0.40 inches; 112 pages.
Too bad Hitchens hasn't taken a second and more recent look at this output, written just after the invasion of Iraq. I'm fairly sure he would have quite a different perspective (or maybe not; he's not often changed his mind on anything) of why Mr. Bush thought it wise to start a war without any real justification. I like Chris Hitchen's stuff on religion and history; I find him offensive and ill-informed on politics and this book is quite a good example of one of his short-falls. The book is only of use to anyone who wants to review how wrong we were in 2003.
