Good. Decorative boards with blindstamp pattern, were once maroon but now sunned, moreso at edges an spine. Gilt titles to spine. Some light bumping to corners but generally boards are in good condition. Prev owner's bookplates on front paste down and a more recent one on ffep (belonging to Lord Fanshawe or Richmond) Some foxing to outer pages but generally pages are clean and well preserved. Binding is tight. b/w frontispiece of the Duke of Albany and colourful title page. A good example of a very early edition.
