Very Good. No Jacket. Elephant Folio-over 15"-23" tall. The complete set in 4 volumes. Full green calf; raised bands, and elaborate blind tooling on both covers and spine. Spines rebacked, with original leather laid on. Page block gilt three edges. Numerous steel engravings, plus 13 plans of the Marquis' gallery. Light foxing of several pages, overall a very nice set.

Publishing date "1932 (for 1931)". An account of all title-page frames, or compartments, cut either on a single piece of wood or metal, or in pieces evidently intended to form part of a single design, and founs in use in Great Britain and Ireland before the close of the year 1640.
