22cm. 8 volumes. Bound in three quarter green morocco with marbled boards trimmed in gilt, titling and decorations in gilt on the spine, raised bands, marbled endpapers. In a limited edition of 250 sets this is set 224/ 250 sets signed by Thomas Bailey Aldrich. Spines faded to a very nice, even, brown, with gilt designs and lettering on spines still bright. Some fading to extremities. One volume has a very small hole in the top board. A very attractive set in near fine condition.
