I joke we specialize in "junk food for the brain" because we mostly have movies and paperbacks. Logonbooks.com is the on-line home of Logan Lake Video and Books.

Yes, there are still video stores! And when we're done renting movies, we sell them. We have over 1500 previously viewed movie titles listed with more being added every week. All our movies are "Canadian" so are zone 1 or all zones and most have English and French versions on the same disc. We also have over 4000 books listed and more in store to add. The photo is of one of our local lakes.

Digital Copies / Codes for Movies - posted by LogonBooks on August 6, 2014

With the changes to Alibris rating guidelines, some of our movies are “damaged” because they do not have the digital copies / codes included. It is very unlikely to find digital copies in our movies and this is why. When we process our movies for rent we pull all the digital copies and put them aside. The digital copies are then added to care packages for our troops. Most bases have internet, and this gives them a chance to legally watch a movie. It’s not much.... read more

Thank-you for the feed back! - posted by LogonBooks on February 14, 2014

I only check up on this site about once or twice a month and often there is nothing to write about. But this time I noticed the feedback and all of our feed back has been wonderfully positive. Thank-you. I know we charge a little more so we can cover the shipping and I'm fussy about how we ship things. I had a not good experience of a CD arriving with the case cracked and the CD scratched because it was just in a normal paper envelope. I was told that was standard for shipping, and I.... read more
