Here at the library we are noted for our holdings in genealogy and
local history. One of our rarest items is a copy of the original Guide
Book to the Chickamauga Battlefield Park, although we lacked a copy of

It was written and printed by an ex-first sergeant of the Union Army. Our copy was in very bad condition and this was a way to preserve it.
