Packing is overkill. Multiple wrappings of shrink wrap, in a well-padded envelope, in corrugated heavy paper. Really? I needed Superman to open it. As a professional, pls learn how to pack a book to survive the postal service. This is not it.

This is not the copy of the book as described. The cover has a huge piece of the dust jacket missing on the back. I never buy a book with a damaged cover. I am very upset and moreso because I don't have a printer to print out the return receipt.

The book was FAR FROM LIKE NEW! Ripped dust jacket with a very poor scotch tape job. Shipped in a box with no bubble wrap or padding. I know it is a book but I still would have wrapped it even if it was just old newspaper. Was shipped fast priority mail.

The book arrived severely damaged due to completely insufficient packaging (thin cardboard wrapped directly around the heavy hardcover with no protective padding whatsoever). Fortunately, alibris was very helpful, but the seller should be more careful.

The experience was positive, except that the packaging was not very secure and had fallen open by the time it arrived. It was not an actual envelope, but a cardboard sleeve wrapped around and stapled at the end, with the book not wrapped inside.

It is stated that this item was mailed on December 9th, but I did not receive it till several days after Christmas. Its purpose as a Christmas gift was, therefore, spoiled. I hope this was the fault of the postal service, but I was disappointed.

Ostensibly the book is new. Sellers usually note if a book has a remainders mark. The mark is black and close to the binding on the lower side so admittedly hard to notice. Just an FYI, I like the book.

I don't consider books with RED remainder marks on the bottom of the book to be in "perfect" condition. Remainder marks were small, but the red color bled into the pages. All copies had the remainder mark. Remainder mark should be in the description.

If your going to use a book to survive you should use real pictures to give visual experience along with what you read. Personally I think the author just liked his own writting skills more than he wanted to teach!
