About this title: This Music Avenue set contains a hodgepodge of live performances by Muddy Waters and his fine band -- including Pinetop Perkins -- between 1971 and 1973. The two 1971 gigs were recorded on October 19 and 20 at the University of Washington and University of Oregon, respectively, and the 1973 gig is from the Newport Jazz Festival. There are stage comments by Muddy, and the end of the disc features a four-and-a-half minute interview.
