About this title: With this release, jazz guitarist Occhipinti tackled the songs of Canadian singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn. Cockburn himself has had jazz composition training and many of his songs have jazz textures and complex arrangements. This lays a firm groundwork for Occhipinti's instrumental interpretations and the resulting album is a successful combination of faithfulness to the original works and experimentation.
