About this title: While Definitive Records' Year in Your Life series does a fine job with the collections that they have issued which span single years, their decade spanning collections issued as part of the same series seem a bit scattershot. The songs are almost always recognizable, but not consistently iconic, and while the series plants itself pretty firmly in pop music, there is a wide range of styles and moods represented here.
