About this title: After re-examining his ranchera roots on Mi Verdad, Alejandro Fernandez returned to concentrating on the romantic ballad style for which he's best known on Entre Tus Brazos. Fernandez wraps his rich baritone around the ballads and rancheras here, mixing pop savvy with mariachi-flavored instrumentation. In terms of his standing in contemporary Mexican music, fans believe Fernandez deserves to be placed in the upper echelon alongside Luis Miguel, and the performances here only strengthen that case.
