About this title: This is an absolutely smokin' compilation of 1970s cuts by soul brother number two Bobby Byrd (cuts one through 11) and the deep sultry funkiness of Vicki Anderson, as herself and as Momie-O (tracks 12 through 18). Issued on CD by P-Vine in Japan, this comp is a truly badass, wildly raucous kind of funk. Byrd's tracks all feature the J.B.'s, and Anderson's feature the J.B.'s and strings. The whole set is admirable, and standouts are tough to pick.
