About this title: Sounds of the Eighties: 80's Blockbusters is a 12-track dip into the pool of the 1980s put together by Time/Life. As the title says, each song here was a blockbuster. There is a mix of ballads ("Sara" by Starship, "Broken Wings" by Mr. Mister, and "True" by Spandau Ballet), sleek new wave ("Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran, "The Tide Is High" by Blondie), and random '80s pop ("Freeze Frame" by the J.
