About this title: Friedman Fairfax's Country is a budget-line collection of obscure recordings, including rerecordings and live tracks, by such country heavy-hitters as Roy Acuff, Patsy Montana, Bob Wills, Bill Monroe, Little Jimmy Dickens, Lefty Frizell, Ray Price, Marty Robbins, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, and Willie Nelson. There's some good music here, but the packaging, fidelity, and presentation is lackluster, which means this isn't an ideal choice, even for budget-minded casual fans.
