"Baby Come Close," by Smokey Robinson, one of my favorites, doesn't belong on the Underground Oldies series, no Motown recording does since they're readily available elsewhere. These tracks read like a Northern Soul compilation, only Smokey Robinson's "Baby Come Close," Gene Chandler's "Man Temptation," and Barbara Lynn's "Until Then I'll Suffer" are familiarities.
