About this title: Star is a compilation of 20 performances spanning from 1925-1944 by British cabaret star Gertrude Lawrence. The original (mono) recordings include her take on "Someone to Watch Over Me," "Poor Little Rich Girl," "How Could We Be Wrong," and more with the added bonus of three scenes from plays acted with partner Noël Coward (love scenes from the first and second acts of Private Lives and a scene from Shadow Play).
