Sunshine Day: Very Best of Osibisa (1999)

About this title: Well, not exactly. This U.K. triple-CD set is actually a simple repackaging of the 1976 Ojah Awake, 1977's Welcome Home, and the 1995 African Flight, with no additional material or interesting diversions. It is, however, a very cheap introduction to the congenial pleasures of Osibisa and includes their rendition of "The Coffee Song," which marked the height of commercial success for the band. For the best of Osibisa, however, you'll need to go all the way back to Woyaya, Osibisa, and Heads. Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
