Super Hits of 1997 (1999)

About this title: 1997 was not a great year for Sony Music Nashville, which is why this budget-priced collection of ten country chart entries is particularly anemic. Rick Trevino's "Running Out of Reasons to Run" topped the charts early in the year, and Ty Herndon's "Loved Too Much" and Collin Raye's "What the Heart Wants" came close, but only two other selections here even made the Top Ten, which puts the "super hits" label in jeopardy.
