About this title: Originally, Lucky Numbers was only intended for sale in Las Vegas, since the ten songs on the disc are all, in some way, about luck and gambling. Reprise soon realized the kitschy high concept would appeal to the legions of swinging Gen-Xers, and so it was made available throughout the country. Truth be told, Lucky Numbers -- which oddly has the distinction of being the first compilation Reprise released after Sinatra's death (it seems like they could have assembled more useful collections in the wake of his passing) -- isn't much of an album.
