Lemon Drop (1998)

About this title: Wooden Circus is a very fine pop/hard rock band that has delivered a well thought out and finely executed debut album. There are traces of heavy metal here, but the multi-dimensional acoustic/electric guitars and the songwriting and singing of Paul Kenny definitely take Wooden Circus out of any melodic-metal pigeonhole. There is a definite psychedelic bent on a lot of the material, and songs such as "Solution" and "Lemon Drop" have a wonderful Cream/Procol Harum feel.
