About this title: Although this isn't a bad roundup of Bacharach-penned hits and obscurities (most written with Hal David), its value has diminished with the release of Bacharach's Look of Love box set, which has some of the best songs on this disc, or better versions of some of the tunes. For instance, instead of hearing Dusty Springfield do "Wishin' and Hopin'," you get Nancy Sinatra's version; instead of Tom Jones doing "What's New Pussycat?," you have Bobby Darin's interpretation; and, believe it or not, instead of Dionne Warwick's "I Say a Little Prayer," you get the Anita Kerr Singers.
