About this title: Released shortly after MTV decided to pull the plug on the show, Yo! MTV Raps: Hits is a fine collection of some of the biggest hip-hop hits of the '90s. Concentrating on pop crossovers, but throwing in a couple of hip-hop hits like Lost Boyz' "Jeeps, Lex, Coups, Bimaz and Benz" for good measure, the album is an entertaining cross-section of mid-'90s rap, running the gamut from gangsta to jazz-rap.
