Monkey Time and Other R&B Hits (1995)

About this title: This brief set has some great songs and performances, including Little Joe & the Thrillers' infectious "Peanuts," Screamin' Jay Hawkins' classic voodoo romp "I Put a Spell on You," Johnnie Ray's hyper-emotional "Cry," and Major Lance's hit version of the Curtis Mayfield-penned "The Monkey Time," but in the end it's just too short and random to make much of a lasting impression.
