About this title: CEMA Special Markets' Folk Essentials might not take its "folk" genre too literally, but it's an entertaining collection nonetheless. There's a world of difference between Leadbelly ("Rock Island Line") and the Stone Poneys ("Different Drum"), but they're here, along with the Kingston Trio ("Tom Dooley"), Burl Ives ("The Irish Rover"), Fred Neil ("Green Rocky Road"), the Highwaymen ("Michael"), Gordon Lightfoot ("Ribbon of Darkness") and John Denver ("Four Strong Winds").
