About this title: Without the Aid of a Safety Net captures a live concert Big Country performed in December of 1993 at the Barrowlands in Glasgow, Scotland. For many observers, the band was well past their prime by this point, but for dedicated fans the first half of the disc is a treasure, showcasing the band in a stripped-down, acoustic setting.
