About this title: Recorded in Bulgaria with the Bulgarian National Symphony, this is a very different release for clarinetist Ken Peplowski. Although he does play brief unaccompanied versions of "Milestones," "Anthropology," "Single Petal of a Rose" and Jimmy Hamilton's "Duet," Peplowski also performs Witold Lutoslawski's "Dance Preludes," Darius Milhaud's "Concerto for Clarinet & Orchestra" (originally written for Benny Goodman), Plamen Djurov's "Cadenza" (which finds Peplowski switching to tenor), and Ornette Coleman's "Lonely Woman."
