One World (1996)

About this title: One World is a charity album for UNICEF and it appropriately features an eclectic mix of artists from all different genres. Rockers like Toni Childs and Peter Gabriel rub shoulders with the Spanish music of Gypsy Kings, the worldbeat of Johnny Clegg and the reggae of Bob Marley. Naturally, such a mixture doesn't result in a coherent album, but it does function as a very good sampler -- it's an easy way to broaden your horizons. Thom Owens, All Music Guide
