Let Me Hear the Choir Sing (1984)

About this title: By the mid-'80s, the Pretty Things' mid-'60s recordings were not even easily available as reissues, so a couple of compilations were produced to bridge the gap until the more definitive Get a Buzz collection came along for the CD era. This 16-track anthology covers the first half of their Fontana Records era (1964-65). The music's certainly fine, but most or all of it's now available on CD. Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
