About this title: This album is in practice a compilation of current trends in Malagasy music, but in theory it is an album by two guitarists (Henry Kaiser and David Lindley). The pair traveled to Madagascar to record with a number of the island's musicians. Many of the songs herein actually don't incorporate the two guitarists in any manner outside of production. Some of the biggest names in Malagasy music are present, including Tarika Sammy, Dama & D'Gary, Mahaleo, and Rossy.
