I recently reviewed WS IV and said I was waiting on WS III. It is as good as the others in this series. There's not a weak piece on this CD, but my favorites were: "Trepak," done by Modern Mandolin Quartet (even more spritely than other artist's renderings), "Coventry Carol," done by Paul McCandless, and an original piece composed by Nightnoise's Triona Ni Dhomhnaill, "Snow is Lightly Falling." Somehow this piece evokes the sensation of snow lightly falling, which is nothing if not magical/mystical. You'll have to buy this CD to find out what I'm talking about. Stop thinking and do it! Merry Christmas!
