"A very well ballanced bitter comedy that is delivering an allways opportune humanitarian message. The pure heart of a tramp who lives in defiance of wealth as a matter of principal but is willing to move heaven an earth so as to offer an easy living to the woman he loves. The movie makes a hint of the classical character of Charles Chaplin. Madge Evans is delightful, but in the same time used by the script-writer to express a hint of misogynism, that in turn is not the pivotal message of the movie and therefore this doesn't affect the overall impression. I love this movie!"
