"I am actually reading this cover to cover. It's one of the scariest things I've ever done. It would be hilarious if it weren't for the fact that women actually embrace it.
Again, of all the books I've delved into so far, this is the deepest rabbit hole my research has taken me to.

"A very religious family member gave this to me as a wedding present. I knew it had to be good, and read it aloud to Nate in the hotel room on our wedding night- seriously. This book is so ludicrous and offensive. I had to give it 5 stars because of the hours of entertainment it's provided to myself, my family, and my friends. I've had about 5 people ask me the name of it so that they can buy it as gag gifts. Go read it if you want to be amused/ horrified."
"This book was difficult to swallow but as I was reading it I prayed for God to show me its truth. The ideas seem old fashioned for this day and age but God's purpose for women and men have never changed. Our world is out of step with the Bible and a marriage based on God's purpose really works. My marriage gets better every year and I believe that God blesses it because I try to be a biblical wife. That is, a helper to my husband. In return, I find that my husband treats me better and loves me more all the time and he isn't even a believer! It really works but it takes a lot of initial sacrifice from you before you can see the results. The testimonies in the book are good examples."
"Had to read this book for book club. It was pretty terrible. This woman has taken certain passages of scripture completely out of context and preaches that wives should be giggly, stay at home, not have other female friends, never tell their husbands what they really think- especially if they disagree - and in general not have personalities.
It did, at least, provide for very interesting discussion at book club. On the whole, though, don't waste your time."
