Very Good oversized paperback. Normal shelfwear to exterior including creasing along spine as well as scattered to panels. Faint staining to both fore-edge and lower page-ends with lightly affects panels and pages with faint staining as well as slight bumping. Several scattered instances of underlining, notation, and marginalia throughout. Otherwise, pages and text are clean and bright. Overall, a great reading copy. 684 pp.

If you can get through the density of Immanuel Kant, you can get through just about everything else in this book, an excellent theory for understanding the varying ideas throughout history regarding aesthetic judgment and objectivity versus subjectivity. Helps with answering such questions as, "Is there a comprehensive art or aesthetics theory?"
Of special note, read up on pragmatism (Dewey), expressiveness (Tolstoy), and formalism (Bell).
