"This book/series came to my notice when a prolific reader told me it was his favorite thing from last summer, and I can see why. A well-written, gripping action novel with plenty of suspense and superpowers. The story is set ten years after Mystery Day, when all of the world's superheroes and villains inexplicably disappeared and brought an end to the existence of superpowers. Except teens Colin and Danny suddenly discover they're capable of unexpected things, their parents are not who they thought, and helicopters flown by black suits start chasing them. I don't really have time to read it now that I know what the series is like, but I'll probably look for the next book anyway. Definitely worth recommending to guys looking for this kind of thing."
"this book is about a time when there were many super heroes. but then they all suddely disapeared. now thre is a new era of super heroes. i heard about this book at a book fair at school. my impression of the book was that it was going to be full of action and fantasy. this book reminds me of the books of the hit TV series heroes. the authors style of writing was to have action and let things flow together so that it makes sense. this book could have been a bit longer because it left you at a cliff hanger, so you'd have to go and get the second book.
